How do I place an order ?
To purchase an item, enter a number into the quantity box, select your options, and push the "add to cart" button. To change options for an item in your shopping cart, you will need to delete that item and add it again to your cart, this time with the correct options.
When you are done shopping, click the "check out" link or button beneath your shopping cart, and that will begin the check out process. You will need to register for an account, and then provide payment information on our secure server. Your purchase will be authorized and you will receive a confirmation email for your order. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with all of the shipment details. If your item is on back-order, we will notify you of the estimated ship date.

What are the benefits of registering for an account?
Toughbook Exchange has an account registration process for one reason only: to provide you with many enhanced shopping features. Registering does not take any longer than just placing a one-time purchase, but it will make it easier for future visits. The enhanced shopping features include:
- Express Checkout: Enjoy a quick checkout process once you enter and activate your billing and shipping settings.
- Tracking Orders & Shipments: You can check the status of any Internet order by logging into your account. When you place an order at Toughbook Exchange you will receive an order shipment e-mail that will include your order number and tracking number if available. Once you log into your account, you will be able to view your previous order details.
What do I do if I forget my password?
Just click here, enter the email address you used when registering, and your user name and password will be emailed to you. If you have any problems, you can always register with us again.
How do I check the status of my order?
You can check the status of any Internet order by logging into your account through the "Your Account" link or the "Check Order Status" link. Check your order status now.
When you place an order at Toughbook Exchange you will receive an order confirmation e-mail that will include your order number and tracking number. For faster service, please have this information readily available. Once you log into your account, you will be able to view your previous order details.

Is it safe to provide you with my credit card information?
ABSOLUTELY. All credit card and personal information on our site is transmitted via a secure server. This means that the information that you provide to Toughbook Exchange when you place an order is encrypted using a high-grade encryption key for U.S. domestic use only (RC4, 128 bit). In addition, your account information is kept in a secure database, and we do not store your credit card number. Credit card fraud on the internet is very rare, but we have taken the steps to provide you with peace of mind when shopping with us.

PlanITROI Technical Support:

Customer Service hours of operation Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
PlanITROI shall supply technical support on Product only (not software) for the length of the warranty period limited to 30 minutes per incident. If Direct PlanITROI Customer or Reseller requests technical support or warranty after the warranty period, PlanITROI will provide such service for a fee of $50 per incident limited to 30 minutes. For more details please call 973-664-0700 x142 and follow procedures.
Panasonic WARRANTY & Technical Support:
Panasonic shall provide warranty specified based on sales contract from actual user date of purchase. Authorized Reseller or Direct PlanITROI Customer is required to provide proof of purchase with a valid Serial Number on bottom of unit to receive such warranty. Proof of purchase can come from Direct PlanITROI Customer directly or any of its Authorized resellers. Toughbooks will be repaired by Heartland service group at no expense to customer if under the warranty period specified on PlanITROI sales contract to user or Authorized Reseller. Repair turn time will average 5 business days once at Heartland. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to Heartland and Panasonic is responsible for shipping UPS Ground back to customer. For more details please call 1-800-Laptop5 and follow procedures. Panasonic shall supply technical support through its 1-800-laptop5 on Product only (not software) for only products with Panasonic warranty.
All buyers are required to fill out a New Account Registration:
Regardless of the method of payment, all buyers are required to fill out PlanITROI's Account Registration form before we can properly process your order. We thank you for your cooperation in helping to prevent fraud.
New Account Registration (Defined):
TP3 = Panasonic Authorized Rugged Reseller, Tax exempt. Must present ST-3 & W-9 along with reseller certificate.
Reseller = A company that resells computer goods and services, Tax exempt. Must present ST-3 & W-9 along with reseller certificate.
Customer = Actual user of product, fully taxable unless you can provide ST-3 & W-9
Payment Terms for United States and Canada ONLY:
Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) plus 3% processing fee
*For customers who would rather fax in their Credit Card information please fill out the following Credit Card Processing Application.
COD Certified Check or Bank Check: Customer must present one of these payment choices to PlanITROI via fax (973) 215-2323 before shipment for verification of funds. We thank you for your cooperation in helping to prevent fraud.
Company Check orders will take 10 business days after receipt of check to ship.
Net Terms - Credit Application - Customer must be in business for 5 years or longer or be a government agency or organization. Non-government businesses must demonstrate a strong pay rating with D&B. Must have an average bank balance of mid 6 figures or greater. Bank Reference complete with credit line information, contact name, phone number, and account number(s). Must have three (3) trade references doing business for 5 years or longer with at least equal to or greater than net terms request with PlanITROI. Process takes 5-7 business days.
Payment Terms for International buyers is Wire Transfer ONLY (No exceptions).
Additional Charges:
New Jersey recipients must pay 7% sales tax. If you are a reseller or tax exempt organization, please fill out the State of New Jersey ST-3 Sales Exempt Form and provide a faxed copy of your TAX ID RESALE CERTIFICATE.
All Credit Card orders are subject to a 3% processing fee (No exceptions).
